Once upon a time
Apple announced the iPad. The wi-fi model won’t ship til late March according to the apple website and the 3G in April pending approval from the FCC. I love my laptop so am I the audience for this? Possibly. I need something with a lot more power like my Macbook Pro, which I inevitably need a new one every two years. I can see myself using it sitting on the couch surfing or even to pull up recipes in the kitchen. It lasts 10hrs on battery life and its in color so “IF” I would choose to read books on the iPad ($499.00 base model) vs the Kindle (price $489 for the 9.7 screen). I would choose the iPad. I love my tech toys but I can think of two people in my life that would actually use it more than I.
